Position Summary

Westhaven Golf Course is seeking a skilled, service-driven Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional bar service across multiple outlets on property, including the Main Clubhouse, Downstairs Turn Grill Lounge, and additional event or dining venues as needed. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, personable, and committed to delivering a high-quality member and guest experience in a private club setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
• Provide professional, attentive, and personalized service to members and guests
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Accurately process orders through the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
• Manage bar inventory, including stocking, rotating products, and communicating needs to management
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and current beverage trends
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events, banquets, tournaments, and special functions
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow all responsible service and TABC guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service
• Uphold Westhaven’s service standards, policies, and brand expectations at all times

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous bartending experience preferred, ideally in a private club, golf course, or upscale restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Valid TABC or state-required alcohol certification (or ability to obtain)

Schedule & Availability

• Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Shifts may vary depending on outlet needs, events, and seasonal business levels
