Position Summary: Are you a "people person" who loves a high-energy environment? We’re looking for welcoming ambassadors to join our team as Bartenders! This flexible, part-time role is perfect for someone looking to support local arts and community events while providing top-notch service to our guests.
What You'll Do:
- Be the Face of the Bar: Greet guests, answer questions, and serve beverages professionally and courteously.
- Operations: Set up and clean beverage stations before and after events.
- Responsibility First: Check IDs, ensure legal alcohol service, and handle guest situations with poise.
- Money Matters: Manage cash transactions, balance receipts, and complete required forms.
- Teamwork: Communicate with staff via radio and attend occasional meetings to stay in the loop.
What We're Looking For:
- Age: Minimum 18 years old.
- Licensing: Must be able to obtain a City of Hartford bartending license.
- Flexibility: Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Skills: Strong communication, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting. Mixology experience is a plus!
The Details:
- Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour plus tips.
- Benefits: Eligible for SIMPLE IRA after $5,000 earned annually.
- Structure: Non-exempt, occasional part-time (6-month probationary period applies).
