Bartender

Position Summary: Are you a "people person" who loves a high-energy environment? We’re looking for welcoming ambassadors to join our team as Bartenders! This flexible, part-time role is perfect for someone looking to support local arts and community events while providing top-notch service to our guests.

What You'll Do:

• Be the Face of the Bar: Greet guests, answer questions, and serve beverages professionally and courteously.
• Operations: Set up and clean beverage stations before and after events.
• Responsibility First: Check IDs, ensure legal alcohol service, and handle guest situations with poise.
• Money Matters: Manage cash transactions, balance receipts, and complete required forms.
• Teamwork: Communicate with staff via radio and attend occasional meetings to stay in the loop.

What We're Looking For:

• Age: Minimum 18 years old.
• Licensing: Must be able to obtain a City of Hartford bartending license.
• Flexibility: Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Strong communication, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting. Mixology experience is a plus!

The Details:

• Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour plus tips.
• Benefits: Eligible for SIMPLE IRA after $5,000 earned annually.
• Structure: Non-exempt, occasional part-time (6-month probationary period applies).
