Position SummaryThe Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages in accordance with resort standards while delivering exceptional guest service. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, fun, and engaging atmosphere for resort guests while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, following standard recipes and presentation guidelinesProvide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests, anticipating needs and enhancing their overall experienceEngage guests in a warm, approachable manner reflective of a relaxed outdoor resort environmentMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area at all timesMonitor and control inventory, ensuring proper storage, handling, and security of all beverage productsOperate POS system and accurately handle cash, credit transactions, and closing proceduresEnsure compliance with all responsible alcohol service laws and company policiesUpsell menu items and promote featured beverages, specials, and eventsAssist with bar setup, breakdown, and restocking for daily service and special eventsMaintain high sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene standardsSupport team members and perform additional duties or special projects as assignedQualifications & ExperienceMust be at least 18 years old (or as required by state law)High School Diploma or GED preferredMinimum 1 year experience bartending in a restaurant, bar, hotel, or resort environment preferredStrong knowledge of:Liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beveragesMixology techniques, recipes, and garnishesProper glassware and presentation standardsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindsetAbility to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced settingStrong attention to detail, reliability, and work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry items weighing 20+ poundsComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, or cooler temperatures)Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysWhy Join Our Resort Team?This is more than a bartending role-it's an opportunity to be part of a unique hospitality experience where nature meets comfort.
