Bartender - Italian Restaurant

About the Role:
Luigi's Gourmet Express & Restaurant in Johnston, RI is looking for a talented and passionate Bartender to join our team! If you love crafting cocktails, creating memorable guest experiences, and have a flair for Italian hospitality, we want to hear from you.



Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty Italian-inspired beverages with consistency and flair
• Provide exceptional guest service at the bar and support dining room beverage needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
• Engage guests with menu knowledge, including food and drink pairings
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to all alcohol service regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure a seamless dining experience

Requirements:

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in a full-service or restaurant environment
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and Italian spirits a plus
• Valid Rhode Island alcohol server certification (or ability to obtain one)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
