Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
- Interact with customers, take their orders, and serve drinks.
- Assess customers' needs and preferences to make personalized recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to create cocktails.
- Present the bar menu to guests.
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a guest-focused approach to ensure an excellent experience for all patrons.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Skills:
- Candidates must possess a valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor License
- Prior bartending experience preferred
- A thorough understanding of mixing techniques, garnishing methods, and serving practices is essential.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software is required for processing transactions and managing inventory
- A positive attitude coupled with excellent communication skills is crucial for interacting effectively with customers and team members and for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- The ability to maintain an organized, well-stocked, and clean bar area is necessary. This includes regular inventory checks, cleaning tasks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
