Position Overview
The Bartender at The Turn is more than a drink specialist; they are a host, a performer, and a master of their craft. We’re looking for a part-time professional who can bring style, expertise, and personality to our lounge, ensuring every drink served is an experience to remember.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and serve a diverse range of high-quality cocktails, wines, and other beverages
- Provide engaging and attentive customer service, cultivating a welcoming atmosphere
- Ensure the bar is impeccably stocked, organized, and compliant with safety and cleanliness standards
- Offer recommendations to enhance guests' dining experiences, matching drinks with menu selections
- Process orders, handle transactions, and manage bar tabs efficiently
- Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in an upscale or fine dining environment
- Exceptional knowledge of cocktails, wines, and bar management
- Superior customer service skills with a friendly and polished demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Illinois BASSET certification or willingness to obtain
