Bartender

Olé Bar & Grill is looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, customer-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to create a fun and welcoming experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take drink and food orders accurately
• Provide knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages
• Make recommendations and answer customer questions about menu and drink options
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
• Monitor customer needs and provide attentive service
• Check identification and follow all applicable laws regarding alcohol service
• Monitor alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Maintain accurate tabs and close customer checks
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies
• Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our guests

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
• Knowledge of basic cocktails and beverage service
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Must be legally permitted to serve alcoholic beverages in New York
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
