WHAT YOU'LL DO
Exemplifies Muckleshoot Casino Resort's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
Practice, support, and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
Create and serve a wide range of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages with precision and artistry. Utilize extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, flavor profiles, and luxury ingredients to craft unique and visually appealing drinks.
Promote positive guest relations and consistently prompt service and engage in conversations, recommend drinks based on guest preferences, and deliver a memorable experience that exceeds expectations.
Engage in suggestive selling techniques to promote premium and specialty beverages, maximizing revenue opportunities.
Assist in training new bartenders, ensuring consistency in beverage preparation, service standards, and knowledge.
Take daily inventory and stock supplies.
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment.
Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlets.
Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promote positive team member relations and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
(One) year of experience in bartending is required.
Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.
Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Service Permit Class 12.
HOW YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL
Knowledge of premium spirits, wines, champagne, and other luxury beverages.
Knowledge of the BERG liquor dispensing system.
Knowledge of P.O.S. systems.
Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
Skilled in basic math.
Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills.
Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
Ability to speak and read English, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the luxury hotel and its guests.
Must be 21 years or older.
