Company OverviewWe are a local Restaurant Group based out of New Bedford, MA that owns and operates Carmine’s at Candleworks, Rose Alley Ale House, Cork Wine & Tapas and The Vault. We have recently added Profile Tavern, the former Nephews in Freetown, MA as well as the iconic Freestones City Grill. We are passionate as to what we do, we are passionate about our customers, we are proud of our community and it’s heritage that we want like-minded individuals to join our team.Job Description:We are looking for experienced Bartenders to join our team. Our ideal candidate is at least 21 years of age, a self-starter, motivated, and engaged and be able to work in an upscale, service oriented environment. Job SummaryProvide food & beverage service to our diners and to servers in an efficient and courteous manner, following established restaurant standards. To uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.Responsibilities
  • Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform.
  • Prepare bar for service prior to guest arrival, including the supplying of service stations, stock to proper par levels, and inspection of the bar top, chairs and immediate area.
  • Serve food and beverage items according to established Carmine’s Standards.
  • Monitor diners' satisfaction frequently, anticipate needs without requiring direction and properly time courses.
  • Restock areas as needed.
  • Properly obtain completed guest checks and close/cash out
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings, tastings and trainings
  • In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
Qualifications
  • Must have complete knowledge of cocktails, types of beers, and an understanding of Italian fare and Italian Wines
  • Must be able to upsell and make recommendations to diners
  • Must be TIPS certified or working toward certification.

Compensation: $6.75 per hour
