Carmines at Candleworks is located in the heart of Historic Downtown New Bedford, Massachusetts.Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bartender to join our team at Carmines. Job Summary:Provide food & beverage service to our diners and to servers in an efficient and courteous manner, following established restaurant standards. To uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniformPrepare bar for service prior to guest arrival, including the supplying of service stations, stock to proper par levels, and inspection of the bar top, chairs and immediate area.Serve food and beverage items according to established New Beige standardsMonitor diners' satisfaction frequently, anticipate needs without requiring direction and properly time courses.Restock areas as neededProperly obtain completed guest checks and close/cash outAttend all scheduled employee meetings, tastings and trainingsIn addition, other duties may be required as directed by your managerQualifications:Must have complete knowledge of cocktails and types of beersMust be able to upsell and make recommendations to dinersMust be TIPS certified or working toward certificationMust have 3+ years of related experience Benefits/Perks:Ongoing Training; Hospitality, Food & Beverage, etc. Flexible SchedulingGrowth and Advancement across our Restaurant group
