The menu at Ocean & Acre celebrates both local farm communities and coastal cultures with signature smoked meats, seasonal produce, shareable seafood dishes and an emphasis on the raw bar. What You'll Be Doing Bartenders are responsible for the success of the bar at the restaurant. This includes: Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage products. Guiding guests through the menus while demonstrating knowledge of food and beverage offerings. Handle assigned house bank and follow cash handling procedures. Suggesting items based on probing questions to understand what guests like or dislike Providing pleasant and timely service. Anticipating guest needs and ensuring they are set up for a smooth dining experience. Requirements: What We Require of You Positive attitude Excellent communication skills Must be able to work the hours dictated by the business and schedule set in place by the Manager; Weekend, evening, and holiday work may be necessary Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow regulations regarding age requirements for the purchase of alcohol Compliance Statement The physical demands of typical of this position must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions for the position.
