Essential Job Functions:
• Provides food and beverage service to members and guests at the bar and lounge.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
• Stocks bar and completes other pre-opening requirements, following established set-up procedures.
• Prepares garnishes, fruit mixes and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening bar.
• Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to members and guests and mixes and prepares drinks ordered by servers according to approved standard recipes.
• Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.
• Remains accessible and attentive to both members and servers.
• Works quickly during peak times.
• Maintains records of liquors, beers and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times.
• Cleans and locks the bar area according to prescribed closing procedures.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist Manager/Supervisor with monthly inventories.
• May perform other assignments and duties, as area needs require.
Requirements
Skills & Knowledge:
• Must be able to take and pass certain, specific training courses administered by the Club.
• Able to communicate and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate proper methods of service etiquette.
• Must have working knowledge of wine, beer, cocktail recipes, garnishes, and glassware.
• Cocktail and food service experience helpful.
Licensure/Certification:
• CPR Certification or willing to become certified.
