Job Summary
Round Top Brewing is seeking a fast-paced, personable Bartender to join us. You will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience, crafting beverages according to recipes, maintaining a clean bar, and accurately handling transactions. Flexible hours available. Closed Monday- Wednesday and we close each night at 9pm (7pm Sunday).
Key Responsibilities
- Drink Service: Mix ingredients (cocktails, beer, wine) accurately and promptly to company standards.
- Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations.
- Safety & Compliance: Check identification to verify legal age and monitor intoxication levels.
- Maintenance: Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized (cleaning glassware, stocking ice/liquor).
- POS Management: Process cash and credit card payments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid TABC certification
- Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, beer, wine, garnishes, and techniques.
- Ability to stand for long periods (8-10 hours) and lift up to 40 lbs.
Skills
- Superior customer service and communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. This is a very high volume establishment and with that comes very competitive wages.
