Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. The position requires availability on weekends, specifically Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with shifts starting from 5 or 6 pm until closing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools
  
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to all alcohol service regulations
  
• Manage cash register or POS system accurately for orders and payments
  
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  
• Follow safety procedures and uphold responsible alcohol service policies
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or similar setting is required
  
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  
• Flexibility to work on weekends, specifically Saturday through Monday shifts starting from 5 or 6 pm until close
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
