Bartender

GDL Reserve is a new tequila bar and lounge in San Francisco seeking friendly, dependable, and motivated bartenders to join our growing team. We are building a strong opening team and are looking for people who work well with others and take pride in providing excellent guest service.

Bartending experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, learns quickly, remains friendly and patient under pressure, and communicates well with both guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing cocktails, mixed drinks, shots, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages
  
• Providing friendly, attentive, and professional guest service
  
• Accurately entering orders and processing payments through the POS system
  
• Keeping the bar clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service
  
• Following responsible alcohol-service, sanitation, and safety procedures
  
• Checking identification and serving alcohol responsibly
  
• Assisting with opening, closing, restocking, and side work
  
• Working cooperatively with bartenders, servers, barbacks, security, and management
  

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience strongly preferred
  
• Must be at least 21 years old
  
• California RBS certification required upon hire
  
• Reliable, punctual, friendly, and professional
  
• Able to multitask and stay calm during busy service
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
• Flexible evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred
  
• Experience with Toast or a similar POS system is a plus
