The Opportunity

We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and guest-focused Bartender to join the team at Six Peaks Grille. If you're passionate about craft cocktails, premium spirits, fine wines, and creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.

As a Bartender at Six Peaks Grille, you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional beverage experience while delivering warm, personalized service to every guest.

• Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, beer, and wine with consistency and attention to detail.
• Deliver exceptional service while engaging guests in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Recommend wine, cocktails, and beverage pairings that complement menu offerings.
• Maintain expert knowledge of current cocktail trends, seasonal ingredients, wines, and spirits.
• Ensure compliance with all California ABC regulations and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Accurately process guest orders through the POS system while handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Prepare fresh garnishes, syrups, mixers, and specialty ingredients.
• Maintain sanitation standards and food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with servers, culinary staff, and management to provide seamless guest experiences.
• Create a fun, energetic atmosphere while maintaining professionalism during high-volume service.

• Previous bartending experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, resort, or high-volume bar preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft cocktails, beer, wine, and premium spirits.
• Wine knowledge and food pairing experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification (or ability to obtain before employment).
• Food Handler Certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons.

Working Conditions

• This position operates in a dynamic luxury resort environment and requires regular interaction with guests, team members, and leadership across multiple food and beverage outlets. The role includes both administrative responsibilities and active floor leadership in restaurants, bars, banquet venues, and outdoor dining areas.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business demands require.
• Frequent movement between multiple food and beverage venues and resort facilities throughout the workday.
• Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including seasonal temperatures, heat from kitchen environments, and occasional cold or inclement weather.
• Regular exposure to moderate noise levels associated with restaurants, bars, banquet events, and commercial kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure while working in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
• Must be able to respond quickly and effectively to guest service needs, operational challenges, and emergency situations.
• Compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety standards.

• Stand and walk for extended periods, frequently up to 8–10 hours during a shift.
• Walk extensively throughout the resort, including restaurants, banquet facilities, kitchens, storage areas, offices, and outdoor venues.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist while inspecting operations or assisting team members.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Operate standard office equipment, including computers, tablets, telephones, and point-of-sale systems.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity to handle paperwork, use electronic devices, and operate restaurant equipment.
• Possess visual acuity to review reports, monitor operations, observe safety concerns, and ensure quality standards.
• Communicate effectively in person and by telephone in environments with moderate to high noise levels.
• Occasionally climb stairs and navigate uneven surfaces throughout the resort property.
• Ability to work safely around commercial kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, hot surfaces, steam, and other operational hazards while following established safety procedures.
