Position Overview:
As a Bartender at Stereo 41, you are an essential part of the guest experience — blending exceptional technique with storytelling and hospitality. You’ll craft cocktails with precision, guide guests through our beverage offerings and maintain a smooth, efficient, and energetic bar environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide warm, knowledgeable, and engaging service to bar guests
Prepare cocktails, highballs, and beverages to spec with speed and accuracy
Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and restocking throughout service
Collaborate with bar and floor team to ensure smooth service flow
Assist in batching, prep, inventory, and bar opening/closing duties
Understand and explain the flavor profiles and ingredients in drinks and spirits
Promote responsible alcohol service and comply with all health and safety guidelines
Help curate the guest experience by connecting beverage offerings to the broader Stereo 41 concept
Handle payments and manage tabs using the POS system
Uphold high standards for bar presentation and guest interaction
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in high-volume or craft cocktail settings
Strong knowledge of spirits, sake, wines, beer, and cocktail techniques
Experience with Japanese ingredients, sake, or highball machines a major plus
Excellent memory, efficiency, and multitasking abilities
ServSafe and alcohol service certification required (or willingness to obtain)
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Collaborative, professional, and enthusiastic approach to guest service
Flexible schedule — must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
