Bartender – The Hops Spot Syracuse, NY

The Hops Spot, Syracuse’s craft beer-focused burger bar & poutinerie with a full liquor inventory, is looking for energetic, experienced Bartenders to join our team!

About the Role

We’re a fast-paced, high-volume late-night spot that serves an extensive selection of beer, wine, and craft cocktails. If you thrive in a busy environment, love crafting drinks, and can keep up with a lively crowd, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver exceptional service in a high-volume setting
• Craft a wide range of cocktails, shots, and classic drinks with speed and consistency
• Pour beer and wine with knowledge of our craft selections
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
• Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our guests

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment
• Strong proficiency in making shots and craft cocktails
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs comfortably (kegs, cases, ice, etc.)
• Comfort working late nights — shifts can run past 3am
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-player mentality
• Reliable transportation and availability for 2–3 shifts per week (with potential for more based on performance and business needs)
