Bartender

Position Summary:

At Hellas, our Bartenders do more than pour drinks; they set the tone. As the heart of the bar, you’ll craft cocktails with precision and speed while bringing warmth, charm, and genuine Hellas hospitality to every guest interaction. Whether it’s a regular or a first-time visitor, it is our role to create memorable moments with every drink. You’ll keep the bar stocked, clean, and guest-ready, handling orders and payments accurately, while working seamlessly with the service team to keep the flow of the restaurant smooth. This role is made for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values consistency, and knows that great service starts with great connections.

What You Will Do: 

• Mix, craft, and serve a wide range of beverages with precision, consistency, and care. 
• Read the room and create memorable guest experiences with genuine, personalized service. 
• Process all drink, food, and to-go orders through our POS system with accuracy and ease. 
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar from open to close. 
• Monitor inventory, requisition supplies, and minimize waste. 
• Uphold safety, hygiene, and alcohol compliance standards. 
• Collaborate with team members to keep the rhythm of service flowing. 
• Ensure responsible alcohol services by checking all IDs and staying current with compliance requirements and local laws. 

What You Bring: 

• At least 2 years of bartending or similar experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting 
• A confident, guest-first approach and natural ability to connect with people 
• Strong communication and multitasking skills 
• Reliability, professionalism, and a team-player mindset 
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Florida Food Handler Certification (will be required after 60 days of employment) 
• Florida Alcohol Seller Certification preferred
