Requirements
The Bartender is a key part of the Tacos & Tequila Cantina experience, delivering exceptional hospitality while crafting high-quality beverages that keep guests coming back. This role combines beverage expertise, guest engagement, and responsible alcohol service to create a fun and memorable atmosphere at the bar and throughout the restaurant.
What You'll Do:
Create Memorable Guest Experiences
- Welcome guests with a friendly, energetic, and engaging attitude.
- Provide attentive service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Build genuine connections with guests while creating a fun and inviting atmosphere.
- Help ensure every guest leaves with an exceptional dining and bar experience.
Craft & Serve Great Beverages
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of our signature margaritas, cocktails, tequilas, beer selections, and menu offerings.
- Make recommendations and guide guests through beverage and menu selections.
- Ensure drinks are prepared accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
Practice Responsible Alcohol Service
- Verify guest identification and comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws.
- Complete required food handler and alcohol awareness certifications.
- Monitor guest consumption and responsibly serve alcohol.
- Politely refuse service when required by law or company policy.
Support Restaurant Operations
- Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system functions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Work collaboratively with servers, food runners, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Be a Brand Ambassador
- Represent Tacos & Tequila Cantina with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrate our T.A.C.O. core values in every interaction.
- Remain open to coaching, feedback, and continuous development.
- Follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
