JOBSUMMARY
The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesin accordance withestablished recipes, service standards, and applicable laws. This positionis responsible formaintaininga clean, organized, and fully stocked bar while completing opening, closing, and side work to ensure efficient daily operations. Bartendersmonitorguest alcohol consumption and serve beverages responsibly to helpmaintaina safe environment for guests and team members. All work is performed in compliance with applicable state liquor laws, health regulations, and Crystal Mountain Resort policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Prepare alcoholicor non-alcoholicbeverages for barpatrons and serversaccording to procedures
Ensure clean glassware, barequipmentand working areas
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply withall food and beverage regulationsas well as the regulations put forth by Washington Health and Liquor Boards
Check identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking age
Record drink orders accurately into POS systemand process payments
Respond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professionalmanner
Arrange glasses and bottles intoattractive and functional displays
Comply withhealth, safety, and hygiene standards and policies
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLAND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of bartending experience
Knowledge of mixing,garnishing,and serving beverages
POS experience a plus
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to set up and keep bar organized and clean
Must have Washington MAST Card
Must have Washington Food Handler Card
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to maneuver and tap a full ½ barrel keg of up to 160lbs.
This positionisto work evenings,weekends,and holidayswhile in operation.
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position aminimum of 20 pounds on anoccasional basis.
Auditory and visual acuity tooperatecomputers, phones, mobiledevicesand basic office equipment on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling,pushingand pulling on an occasional basis.
