Job Description
BAS Programmer - Nashville, TN - Large HVAC Mechanical Company with a Controls DivisionPOSITION:LOCATION:RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prior experience as a BAS Programmer or similar position
- Program and configure custom applications from scratch or prepackaged libraries
- Perform check-out and commissioning of BAS Systems
- Communicate effectively with technicians and PMs in the field and other related staff
- Create controls databases from scratch
- Mentor and train other team members
- Coordinate and manage BAS support technicians
- Familiar with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet, LON and Modbus
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve any issues within systems
- Manage programs from start to finish and ensure they cover all requirements
