Building Automation Consultant - South-East Market SpecialistLocation: Remote (U.S.)Base Pay Range$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yrOverviewWe are seeking a senior-level Systems Engineer to lead design efforts for Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and integrated technology solutions in mission-critical environments such as hyperscale data centers. This role combines technical leadership, design execution, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead designs for DDC and PLC-based BAS and EPMS systemsDefine controls network architecture, IT/OT requirements, and system diagramsPrepare sequences of operation, specifications, and point/alarm listsCoordinate with vendors, engineers, and BIM/AutoCAD resourcesEnsure compliance with best practices for secure and reliable systemsManage design phases (SD, DD, IFC) and construction administration activitiesReview RFIs, submittals, and participate in quality control and site‑turn reviewsSupport project closeout, punch lists, and documentationWork with internal and external engineering teams and client stakeholdersMentor junior engineers and delegate tasks effectivelyServe as a technical point of contact for clients when requiredQualificationsProficiency in MS Office and RevitStrong knowledge of networking (VLANs, LANs), IoT, and open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP)Experience with DDC systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Honeywell) and PLC systems (e.g., Schneider, Allen Bradley)Familiarity with smart building solutions and emerging technologiesExcellent organizational, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple prioritiesSeniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑time#J-18808-Ljbffr
