    BAS System Specialist II – St. Paul, MN – $28.97–$43.46/hr + Bonus + Benefits

    About the Opportunity:

    A nationally recognized mechanical contractor is seeking a skilled BAS System Specialist II in the St. Paul, MN area. This full-time role focuses on building automation system support, including point-to-point verification, commissioning, programming, and graphics development. Approximately 35% of the workload occurs during night shifts (typically 9:00pm–4:00am) at the Minneapolis–St. Paul Airport.

    Position Details:

    • Title: BAS System Specialist II
    • Location: St. Paul, MN
    • Hourly Rate: $28.97–$43.46/hr (DOE)
    • Status: Non-Exempt | Overtime Eligible
    • Bonus: Short-Term Incentive Bonus (up to 2.5%)
    • Car Allowance: Included

    Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot BAS sequences and verify field control points
    • Build, test, commission, and optimize automation systems
    • Create BAS graphics, dashboards, and user interface displays
    • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical and control systems
    • Write, modify, and deploy control logic and software programs
    • Support energy efficiency initiatives and system performance optimization
    • Work with Tridium Niagara, KMC, or Honeywell platforms (preferred)

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Experienced with BAS, DDC controls, or HVAC automation systems
    • Strong understanding of commissioning and energy management strategies
    • Capable of creating and editing graphics, wiring diagrams, and dashboards
    • Skilled in troubleshooting and performing field-level repairs/replacements
    • Comfortable working night shifts approximately 35% of the time
