About Us:
D-BAT Virginia Beach is dedicated to developing young athletes and fostering a love for the game of baseball and softball. We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable instructors to join our team. Our goal is to provide high-quality training to players of all skill levels and help them reach their full potential.
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic baseball and softball instructors (multiple positions available) who can teach various aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching. Candidates with a strong background in pitching and/or catching instruction will be prioritized during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group lessons for players of all ages and skill levels.
- Focus on techniques, mechanics, and strategies, while also addressing other fundamental skills as needed.
- Develop customized training plans to meet the specific needs of each player.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help athletes improve.
- Communicate with parents about player's training sessions.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in baseball and softball.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience college playing experience; or significant coaching experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Knowledge of current techniques and training methods.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
