Baseball Coach

Position Overview:

Baseball Coaches at Lincoln Christian School are responsible for leading the Baseball program in a manner that honors God, supports student growth, and aligns with the mission and values of Lincoln Christian School. This individual must model spiritual leadership, demonstrate strong communication skills, and foster a Christ-centered team culture.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Statement of Faith & Testimony: Agree with Lincoln Christian School's Statement of Faith and be able to clearly articulate a personal testimony of faith.
• Spiritual Leadership: Demonstrate spiritual leadership and maturity as a baseball coach and in personal life. Coach with a biblical worldview, guiding players to maximize their God-given abilities.
• Culture: Lead the program by implementing effective strategies to create a positive, God-glorifying, and competitive culture.
• Proactive Communication: Establish open, timely, and proactive communication channels with athletes, parents, staff, and the entire LCS community to ensure clarity regarding schedules, expectations, progress updates, and concerns.
• Systems Thinking: Build a culture of relationships that values clear and consistent communication and is driven by "systems thinking."
• Player Development: Provide opportunities for junior high and elementary-aged boys to grow in their interest and skills in baseball.
