We have been asked by a client in the Westfield / Sheridan area to help them find a Batch Manufacturing Operator. In this role, you will lead the production process for a manufacturer of specialty building products used in commercial, institutional, and residential construction. You will be responsible for mixing raw materials to precise specifications, operating automated production equipment, overseeing the molding and curing process, and performing daily equipment cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure consistent product quality and reliable operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving processes, and taking ownership of production results.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Position Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Work Environment: Semi climate-controlled manufacturing facility

What will you do as a Batch Manufacturing Operator?
Run the batch production process from start to finish.
Ensure raw materials are mixed to the correct formulas and specifications.
Operate equipment that fills molds with product.
Set up molds and monitor product quality throughout production.
Move molded products through the curing process.
Make machine adjustments to keep production running smoothly.
Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
Support preventative maintenance activities and schedules.
Perform daily cleaning of mixers, batching equipment, and production machinery.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Keep production records and enter data into the computer system.
Work safely and help maintain a clean, organized production area.
What qualifications will you have as a Batch Manufacturing Operator?
Experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or batch processing.
Experience with batch manufacturing or mixing processes is preferred.
Experience in building materials, concrete products, or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting equipment issues.
Able to support preventative maintenance activities.
Comfortable working with production equipment and hand tools.
Basic computer skills.
Able to read work instructions, blueprints, and production documents.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
Team player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help where needed.
Able to lift, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the day.
High school diploma or equivalent.
