About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Batch Mixer workers for a manufacturing company in Brooklyn Park, MN. In this role, you’ll support production by mixing and preparing coatings, paints, and chemical solutions to meet quality and performance standards. What You’ll Do as a Batch Mixer:- Operate and monitor mixing, coating, and painting equipment
- Measure and weigh chemicals, paints, or coatings according to formulas
- Observe gauges, machine operation, and product quality, adjusting settings as needed
- Control machine settings such as temperature, pressure, speed, and material flow
- Start pumps and fill tanks to mix solutions properly
- Record production and operational data on required forms
- Operate auxiliary equipment used in coating and mixing processes
What You Need to Bring to the Batch Mixer Role:- Ability to read, write, and follow work instructions in English
- Understanding of manufacturing or production processes
- Knowledge of chemicals, raw materials, or mixing processes preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment
- Ability to work in a production environment and follow safety procedures
- Prior batch mixing, manufacturing, or coatings experience preferred but not required
