The Temporary Custodial/Maintenance Service Worker plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Bristol Bay Campus in Unalaska, Alaska. This position supports the daily operations of the campus by ensuring that facilities and grounds are well cared for and that maintenance needs are promptly addressed. This position will perform a variety of custodial, groundskeeping, and general maintenance tasks to keep campus buildings, facilities, and outdoor spaces in excellent condition.
The successful candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the Bristol Bay Campus community. This position requires someone who works well as part of a team, follows direction, and approaches tasks with attention to detail and care. A current valid driver's license is preferred but not required
Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate of Completion from a technical school and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physically able to lift, crouch, and kneel. OSHA /other safety training useful.
Position Details:
This position is located on the Bristol Bay Campus in Unalaska, AK. This is an on-call temporary, non-exempt position.
