Job Opportunity: Neurohospitalist

Our organization is currently in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Neurohospitalist for an inpatient-only role. This position is primarily based at our 312-bed Level 3 trauma center located in Bristol, Tennessee, which is recognized as a primary stroke center. The role will also involve some responsibilities at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee, and Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, both situated approximately 15 miles from Bristol.

What We Offer

• Employed position with a supportive work environment
• Average patient load of 12-15 patients, including consults
• Utilization of Epic EMR across the health system
• Support from physician extenders (Nurse Practitioners)
• Responsibilities include inpatient stroke care and general neurology, with consults in the ICU, general medical floor, and emergency room, as well as reading routine and prolonged EEGs
