Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Central NJ. The BCBA will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans to help individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential in home, center, and school settings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assessments: Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments as well as assessments to derive treatment goals.
Treatment Planning: Develop, update, and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and shoe/long term treatment goals for clients and their families based on data analysis and evidence-based practices.
Supervision: Provide direct and indirect supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians in the field (home, school, center).
Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, speech therapists, psychologists, and families.
Training: Conduct caregiver/parent training sessions to ensure skill generalization and provide ongoing support.
Compliance: Maintain accurate clinical documentation, session notes, and insurance-required reports in accordance with ethical guidelines and state/federal regulations.
Data Analysis: Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Certification: Active, in-good-standing BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Licensure: Active [State - e.g., New Jersey] Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential, or ability to obtain.
Experience: Minimum of [1-3] years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably with pediatric populations or in [specify setting: home, clinic, or school].
Skills: Strong knowledge of ABA principles, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
