Position Overview:
Our organization specializes in evidence-based behavioral therapies aimed at assisting children with autism spectrum disorders. Our goal is to enhance the independence and quality of life for our clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) plays a crucial role in providing clinical expertise, leadership, and guidance to ensure the success of each assigned client case.
In this role, you will ensure that:
- Client families receive consistent, high-quality clinical services, leading to meaningful progress and satisfaction with our offerings. You will deliver direct services, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), oversee assigned client cases, and consult on cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
- Your clinical team benefits from professional development and achieves success in their roles, tailored to their experience and growth stage. You will offer oversight, feedback, mentoring, and encouragement to cultivate skilled Program Managers and Interventionists.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours per week / 110 hours per month).
- Supervise your Program Manager team to ensure they achieve a minimum of 28 billable hours per week (120 hours per month).
- Provide high-quality clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to ensure treatment integrity and quality assurance across clients, settings, and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
- Conduct developmental skills assessments, such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, and/or VB-MAPP, to create and evaluate individualized treatment recommendations and objectives.
- Oversee and document compliance with BACB standards for RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates as required.
- Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Analyses, to develop function-based treatment plans.
- Provide precise skill assessments and direct feedback through Performance Management metrics to clinical team members (e.g., Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers).
- Deliver training as needed to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST): discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
- Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and other interdisciplinary team meetings as applicable, presenting proposed goals, objectives, behavioral interventions, and necessary modifications/adaptations.
- Collaborate with school personnel by observing students, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, implementing training as needed, and offering regular follow-up support as authorized.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ABA and clinical practices
- Self-motivated: Capable of consistently scheduling and attending client appointments and clinical team meetings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Clear language, proper grammar, and spelling
- Effective time management: Ability to balance billable and non-billable hours, both onsite and in-office
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues, fostering connections between the clinical team and client families
- Team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service: Committed to supporting client families and colleagues, regardless of their roles
- Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish preferred
