We’re hiring a BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our winning team at Resnick Automotive Group.

Do you have previous BDC or Internet Sales experience? Are you familiar with the functionality of a dealership? Are you tech-savvy and comfortable making outbound calls on a daily basis?

As a BDC Representative, you will be responsible for handling sales leads and inbound calls for three of our dealerships (Woodfield Lexus, Schaumburg Toyota and Mercedes Benz of St Charles). You’ll be responsible for making outbound calls, setting appointments, responding to customer inquiries, and learning about product updates to best service the customer.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming internet and phone leads.
• Be available to promptly respond to live chat, phone and email inquiries in a professional and well-spoken manner
• Provide an unparalleled level of expertise to help customers find the vehicle they're looking for, including comprehensive knowledge of available products and services.
• Conceptualize and understand the psychology of internet customers and work with them accordingly to set an appointment for a proper vehicle demonstration
• Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
• Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
• Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly

Skills / Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous automotive dealership experience.
• Prior internet sales, BDC, or related experience.
• Comfortable making outbound calls daily.
• Coachable and able to follow a specific process.
• Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Self-motivated and goal oriented.
• Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
• Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are required
• Flexible availability.
• Bilingual a plus.
