Service BDC Representative
Chevrolet of Troy is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to customers to schedule and confirm service appointments.
- Answer inbound customer calls and assist with scheduling service appointments.
- Follow up with customers regarding recommended and due maintenance.
- Contact customers with open service opportunities and encourage them to return for needed repairs or maintenance.
- Accurately schedule appointments according to customer needs and service department availability.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience on every call.
- Maintain accurate customer information and call notes in the dealership CRM.
- Follow up on missed appointments, declined services, and other customer opportunities.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and the Service Department to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Meet daily and monthly appointment-setting and performance goals.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and confident phone presence.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, and scheduling software.
- Previous automotive, dealership, call center, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
