BDC Sales Representative

As an Automotive BDC Representative, you will be directly responsible for monitoring following up with potential customer leads received via internet, phone, and visits to the dealership. Outstanding customer service skills are required. Automotive BDC Representative Responsibilities:

• Use interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and set appointments for sales departments
• Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, phone calls, and live chat inquiries, ensuring satisfaction and increasing sales opportunities
• Make outbound calls to follow up on unsold leads, missed appointments, and prior customer interest
• Use CRM software to manage customer data, track communications, and schedule appointments
• Follow custom scripts, email templates, and best practices to communicate consistently and effectively
• Nurture leads who aren’t yet ready to buy with follow-up outreach and check-ins
• Collaborate with sales, service, and management teams to coordinate handoffs and ensure lead quality
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and dealership offerings
• Deliver an exceptional first impression that reflects the Malloy Auto brand

Automotive BDC Representative Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of previous customer service / BDC/ call center experience is required
• Previous sales experience, including inside sales, outside sales, retail sales is a plus
• Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career
• Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
• Strong computer and CRM skills
• Ability to learn and work within dealership systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Automotive experience is a plus but not required
