What you will have an opportunity to do:

As the Beach Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional beachfront experiences while supporting the daily operations of one of Southwest Florida's premier luxury beach resorts. You will supervise daily beach and tram operations, lead and develop frontline team members, and ensure guests receive safe, efficient, and personalized service from arrival to departure.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for maintaining operational excellence, enforcing safety standards, supporting environmental stewardship within Clam Pass, and creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.

Your Role

  • Supervise the daily operation of the beach, tram transportation, and beachfront amenities.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and support Beach Attendants and Tram Drivers while maintaining high service standards.
  • Assist with scheduling, daily assignments, and labor management to meet business demands.
  • Ensure the proper setup, maintenance, cleanliness, and storage of beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, day beds, and recreational equipment.
  • Monitor tram operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation between the resort and Clam Pass.
  • Serve as a visible leader by actively assisting team members during busy periods and leading by example.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, resolving concerns promptly, and creating memorable experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all resort policies, OSHA standards, Florida boating and beach safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment, vehicles, facilities, and work areas to maintain safety and presentation standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and reporting operational needs.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance and service consistency.
  • Complete opening and closing responsibilities, operational reports, and incident documentation as required.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support special events, group activities, VIP arrivals, and resort programming as needed.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, professionalism, and luxury hospitality.

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, beach operations, recreation, pool operations, or a related service environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Outstanding guest service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and risk management practices.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing, walking, bending, and operating resort equipment.
