Beautician/ Hair Stylist Contractor

Westwood Post Acute is looking for a Beautician/ Hair Stylist Contractor!

Are you a passionate Beautician/ Hair Stylist Contractor looking for an exciting opportunity? Look no further! At Westwood Post Acute, we are dedicated to helping our patients live strong, healthy lives, and we need YOU to make it happen!

What to Expect:

Analyzes resident's hair and questions resident to determine their hairdressing preference.

Washes, dyes, perms, tints, bleaches or curls or waves hair based on residents' instructions.

Styles hair by blowing, cutting, trimming and tapering.

Makes and confirms hairdressing appointments and coordinates transportation through nursing staff.

Space provided free of charge

Educational/Vocational Requirements:

High School Diploma,

Valid cosmetology license with at least six months related experience.

Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting preferred but not required

Background check required

This is a contractor position, not an employer/employee position. Contractor will set their own rates and collect payment from the residents directly. For example: previous contractor charged: $10 for regular men's haircuts & $15 for regular women's haircuts. Additional services are offered as well at additional prices. Space provided free of charge
