Our client, a leading beauty brand, is seeking a Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist) to represent the brand and engage with customers in a retail environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr - $27/hr

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist) for a seasonal opportunity with potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate has strong makeup knowledge, retail sales experience, and excellent customer service skills. This role requires availability Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm and the ability to commute to at least 4 of the 5 assigned New Jersey locations.

Responsibilities of the Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist):

• Represent the beauty brand in a retail environment.
• Engage with customers and provide personalized product recommendations.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of makeup and beauty products.
• Drive sales and support sales goals.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive customer experience.
• Assist customers with product selection and makeup-related questions.
• Maintain a professional and engaging brand presence.

Required Experience/Skills for the Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist):

• Previous makeup or beauty experience required.
• Strong knowledge of makeup application and beauty products.
• Retail sales and customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Must be available Thursday to Saturday, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
• Must be available all three days.
• Must be able to reliably commute to at least 4 of the following 5 New Jersey locations:
  • 1640 US Route 22, Watchung, NJ 07069.
  • 1255 Raritan Road, Clark, NJ 07066.
  • 175 Passaic Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032.
  • 1 American Dream Way, East Rutherford, NJ 07073.
  • 45 West Spring Valley Avenue, Maywood, NJ 07607.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist):

• High-volume retail sales experience.
• Beauty, cosmetics, or specialty retail experience.
• Experience working toward sales goals or KPIs.
• Professional makeup artistry experience.

Education Requirements:

• No specific degree is required.
• Makeup artistry or beauty-related training/certification is a plus.
