Before & After School Childcare Professional - Group Leader

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day.

For those with experience working with students, the Group Leader role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful before- and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

This role is ideal for educators with experience in:

• Teaching or classroom leadership
• Youth programs
• Staff supervision or team leadership
• Elementary Education college students

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• 18+ years old
• 240+ documented hours of experience working with children is preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by OR childcare licensing regulations
• Proof of experience as required by OR childcare licensing regulations
