Before & After School Program Recreation Aides
Part-Time Position
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of all before and after school care program students
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a group of elementary school age students
- Plan and implement various recreation activities for the students, as well as, assist with homework
- Be aware of every child's whereabouts at all times
- Communicate any and all incidents concerning the well-being of the children to supervisor
- Must be organized and professional
- Hours vary from 6:30 AM 9:15 AM & 2:30 PM 6:00 PM
- Must be available to work 5 days a week when school is in session
Requirements:
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma is preferred (current high school students may apply upon completion of an approved child care course or with prior work experience with school aged children)
- Some college credits in education or related field preferred
- Prior experience with school age children in excess of a year is preferred
Pay: From $17 per hour
