Before-School Program Group Leader

Description: This role will ensure the safety and supervision of students during a school-based Before-School Program. Students will be adequetly supervised, cared for, and given opportuntieis to engage in safe and fun activities. The program will run daily from 7:45-8:45 AM.

Job Responsibilities:

• This person will play an important part in the work that we do each day to ensure that students are cared for and supervised before starting their school day.
• Supervise children, promote learning opportunities, and lead activities to ensure students are engaged.
• Role model acceptable behaviors and decision-making for participants and peers.
• Actively participate and engage with students during program hours.
• Utilize appropriate guidance and developmental techniques with participants to create an orderly environment that is conducive to learning and student safety.
• Enforce schoolwide and district values to create a safe and welcoming enviroment where students feel a sense of belonging.

Positions Available: 4 Depending on Enrollment

Stipend: $18.75/Hour, 1 Hour Each Day, 180 School Days (August-June)
