Mentor new teachers county-wide

Qualifications:

  • WV Professional Teaching Certificate
  • Master's Degree in an education field required
  • Minimum of 10 years successful teaching/administrative experience
  • Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
  • The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the job description with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Additional Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year only

Salary: $30/hour not to exceed 750 hours. Said funds shall be provided through mentor grant funds.
