Job Summary:

\nThe Program Support Specialist will provide essential operational and administrative support to the Behavioral Health program.
\nDuties & Responsibilities:
\n• Assist with managing the department budget and the associated reporting.
\n• Assist with coordinating and submitting payroll documents including Faculty Load and Compensation (FLAC).
\n• Assist with coordinating purchasing, procurement, and revenue.
\n• Assist with budget management, financial reporting, procurement, and grant administration.
\n• Assist with maintaining the department calendar and hosting of department events.
\n• Manage organized department files, records, and databases.
\n• Assist administrators with the hiring and onboarding of faculty and staff.
\n• Assist administrators and faculty with the inventory of department equipment and supplies.
\n• Provide file management for division documents.
\n• Act as a liaison with other college departments and external partners as needed.
\n• Coordinate department communications via phone, email, website, etc.
\n• Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
\n• Other duties as assigned to support the departmental operations.

\nMinimum Qualifications:
\n• Completed bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
\n• Two years of professional level experience managing and coordinating department operations.
\n• Demonstrated experience with data collection and analysis.
\nProfessional level experience is defined by the Colorado Division of Human Resources: A position that involves the exercise of discretion, analytical skill, judgment, personal accountability, and responsibility for creating, developing, integrating, applying, or sharing an organized body of knowledge. Colorado revised statute (C.R.S. 24-50-135(1) allows colleges to exempt positions from the State Personnel Classified System that are determined to be professional level work.
\nPreferred Qualifications:
\n• Three years of professional level experience managing and coordinating department operations.
\n• Microsoft Applications including Excel.
\n• Experience with budgets and budget reporting.
\n• Demonstrated understanding of a community college mission.
