School Behavior Interventionist

Ready to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential? Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Behavior Coach / Interventionist to provide positive behavior support and empower students to thrive throughout the school day in Surprise, AZ.

Position Overview: 

• Provide individualized behavioral support and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to promote student success in the school environment.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and reinforce positive behavior support plans.
• Monitor student progress, document behavioral data, and adjust interventions to support social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment while helping students build positive behavioral and self-regulation skills.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field required; or a bachelor's degree in Education/Special Education with five years of experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional disabilities
• Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid Driver's License
• School-based and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience preferred
