Position Overview

• Provide individualized behavioral support to students, implementing intervention strategies designed to promote positive behaviors, emotional regulation, and student success.
• Monitor student behavior and progress, document observations, and adjust support strategies in collaboration with the educational team.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral escalations and implement approved crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and support professionals to reinforce behavioral goals and promote consistent interventions.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or Special Education OR a Bachelor’s degree in Education/Special Education with five years of experience working with students with behavioral and emotional disabilities
• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain and maintain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification
• Experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs
