This position will travel to various North Clackamas School District buildings. Office location is Annex/ Professional Development Center.

Position Summary:
The primary responsibility (full time or part time FTE) of the Behavior Interventionist is multi-faceted and varied depending on the specific assignment. The Behavior Interventionist works with other staff to develop and implement a comprehensive behavior intervention program to meet the needs of students struggling in the area of behavior. Behavior Interventionists provide direct guidance and support services to help students in developing their abilities to learn and participate within the school setting. In carrying out these responsibilities, Behavior Interventionists will follow District policy, standard practices, and administrative unit regulations.
This position will have an emphasis on supporting the needs of students and families who have experienced trauma. This includes providing professional development on this topic to educators and the parent community as well as designing interventions specific to this need.
License Requirement:
Must hold or be able to obtain Oregon Educator license with a Subject Matter Endorsement specific to the content area taught in this position (i.e. must hold biology endorsement if teaching biology).

Salary:
PLEASE NOTE: North Clackamas Schools is negotiating the licensed contract for the 26-27 school year. Below is our Annual Salary Range for the 25-26 school year:
Retirement Plan Contribution:
North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion. Upon eligibility, which is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position, the employee is required to contribute 6% as their employee portion, via payroll deduction. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
