POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESSupport communication and build positive relationships between students and building staffCollaborate with building administration and staff to implement effective positive behavioral management strategies as well as conflict mediation and de-escalation strategies.Support student success in the classroom and in participation in academics.Assist in facilitating groups with staff, students and families.Liaison with resources in the community.Demonstrate skills in working collaboratively with education- and community-based agencies in development and implementation of plans to address individual student's needs.Support and facilitate crisis management.Work under the supervision of BCBA and Special Education Supervisors.Implement interventions, collect data, coach and mentor staff.Work at an assigned district wide site for approx 4-6 weeks with a 1:1 student.This position will be working with students who have high intense behaviors.Other tasks as assigned.
