Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Student Student Support Services, plans and provides a behavior management program for pupils and provides related services to teachers, administrators, other special education staff, parents, and the community, as appropriate. Actively participates in the development and implementation of policies relative to the management of students' problematic behaviors. Start Date: July 31, 2026 Full-time permanent employees are offered an attractive benefit package which includes health, dental, vision coverage for the employee and eligible dependents ($11,900.00 Health and Welfare cap paid by the District). Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Master's Degree with a major in psychology or a related field Successful experience with Applied Behavior Analysis Experience working with teachers, students and parents Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCABA) or documented evidence of equivalent education, professional training and experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) Minimum experience three (3) years or the equivalent as a Behavior Specialist preferred Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education Demonstrate ability to assess children's behavioral needs and competence in the design of appropriate instructional strategies and educational programs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status Any combination equivalent to: Master's Degree in school psychology or special education and counseling and some counseling or teaching experience, including some experience in assessing and working with severely handicapped students, aged birth to twenty-one Valid California Credential authorizing services in school psychology or pupil personnel Possession of a Valid California Class C driver's license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the County Office of Education
