Overview
The Behavior Team Associate will participate as a team member that assists in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior or feeding disorders in individuals including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities guided by behavior analytic principles. The incumbent will participate in the process under the supervision of a faculty-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D), Licensed Psychologist, and/or BCBA.

QUALIFICATIONS:• Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification within 90 days of hire.• Must maintain up-to-date status in Behavior Management training and other company-provided in-service topics required by and according to the timeline established by the department.
EDUCATION:• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or allied discipline is required. • In very select circumstances, very specific and significant training, experience, and knowledge of applied behavioral analysis and implementing behavioral protocols with pediatric patients will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. This exception will only be made at the Program Director's discretion with approval from the head of the department.
EXPERIENCE:Previous experience in the implementation of behavioral assessment and treatment procedures with persons with severe problem behavior, intellectual, and developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred.
